I as well searched for the same but there's been any book or link . Only thin I have is the custom transport link from Mulesoft itself (<a href="http://www.mulesoft.org/documentation/display/MULE3USER/Transport+Archetype)" rel="nofollow">http://www.mulesoft.org/documentation...</a>.

I can give you a clue to start with Dispatcher and see if you can embeds a TCP Connection object in dispatcher class, and then override the send() or dispatch() method.

I am stuck on is to pass on configuration information from config file to the connector/dispatcher.
