Hi David,
<br /><br />
We also get the similar exception as specified by the poster(Vignesh Ramachandiran). In our case, this issue is happening in cluster environment of two nodes (ESBEXT-01 and ESBEXT-02). For resilience test, our testers has shut down the ESB-01. As expected, ESB-02 pick up an file from the sftp location and during its processing it needs to route a message to an http endpoint available in another machine (ESBINT). At this point only we are facing the exception as the connector is not available.
<br /><br />
We are using the NullSessionHandler to tighten the security by following this url (<a href="http://www.mulesoft.org/documentation/display/current/HTTP+Transport+Reference" rel="nofollow">http://www.mulesoft.org/documentation...</a>)
<br /><br />
Based on the following blogs we believe the root cause for this issue could be the port conflicts.

<br /><br />
Please help us to resolve this issue.
<br /><br />
Thanks,
<br />

If you're running clustered, it means you are using EE: then the best is you turn to MuleSoft's support so they'll provide you with the best help possible for your current issue.
